Neighbors Who've Called Us
"As the HOA President in my community, we needed our common area door lock issue addressed as soon as possible. Joe from PBC came the next day and immediately addressed the situation. Joe was extremely friendly and loves what he does. I'm aware many companies take advantage of a HOA, but Joe charged us what he would charge any other customer. His prices are reasonable and the job was well done."
"Excellent service, excellent customer service! I'm not one to leave reviews often, but after Joe left I feel i have to. Joe is very professional, very fast and his rates are reasonable. He arrived super fast after we called him, and he fixed our lock just as fast. Before he left, he made sure that the lock is working. I can only recommend him to anyone!"
"My experience with Joe with PBC Locksmith was an amazing one. I contacted him/the company to rekey my Accordion Shutters. Joe was professional, easy to work with, punctual and clear about the cost. He made the entire process so simple, easy, quick! Exactly what I needed. I felt appreciated as a client and the entire experience was a good one from beginning to end. Thank you!!!"
"Imagine closing on a new home, and then going to open it for the first time and the lock is busted! I called Joe at PBC Locksmith, and he said he could be there in a half hour! He showed up just on time, was super friendly and really knowledgeable! The deadbolt was completely broken so he took that out and replaced it, and was able to just rekey the bottom lock. I will definitely be keeping his number in case any other lock emergencies should arise!"
"Absolutely amazing !!! The most outstanding service!!! Great communication, ON TIME! Trusted, friendly, very helpful & great prices, quality work."
"Best response time i have ever had. Professional and did exactly what they said they would do with out any problems. Highly recommended"
"I recently hired Joe at PBC locksmith to update the security at my home. He was punctual, and professional. He re-keyed my door locks so that just one key works for everything, which is so convenient! He also installed a wireless keypad and showed me how to program a code for easy keyless entry. Knowing he is fully licensed and insured made the whole process stress-free. I highly recommend his services to anyone needing reliable lock installation. Worth every penny."
"He gave me an upfront cost. Did not try to upsell me on anything. Came out and re-keyed the front and back doors as requested."

Frequently Asked Questions
How quickly can you get to me?
We offer same-day service across Palm Beach and Broward County, 7 days a week from 9am to 7pm. Call or text and you'll reach the owner directly — we'll give you an honest arrival time.
What are your hours — are you open 24/7?
We're open 7 days a week, 9 AM to 7 PM, including weekends, with same-day service for lockouts and urgent lock problems during those hours. We're not a 24/7 or overnight emergency service — but from 9 to 7 you'll always reach Joe directly, not a call center.
How much does a locksmith cost — do you give quotes before work?
Every job is different, so there's no one-size price — but estimates are free and every job is quoted individually, up front, before any work starts. No hidden fees and no bait-and-switch: the price Joe quotes is the price you pay.
Do you make car keys or repair ignitions?
We help with car lockouts, but we don't cut car keys or work on ignitions. For home and business locks — lockouts, rekeying, lock changes, keypads and more — we handle everything.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — PBC Locksmith LLC is fully licensed and insured in Florida, and all work is backed by a 1-year parts & labor warranty and a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
Are you owner-operated?
Yes. Joe is the owner, and he's also the locksmith who answers your call and shows up to do the work — no subcontractors, no call center, no dispatcher.
Can you rekey my locks instead of replacing them?
Usually, yes — and it costs less. If your locks work fine and you just need the old keys to stop working (after a move, a lost key, or a tenant change), rekeying changes the pins inside so only your new keys work, and you keep your existing hardware. If a lock is worn out or you want a new style, Joe will tell you honestly and quote both options before starting.
Do you work in gated communities?
Yes. Joe works in gated and 55+ communities across Palm Beach and Broward, including Mission Bay, Century Village, and Kings Point. Just let the gate know a locksmith is coming (or add Joe to your guest list), and share any gate or parking instructions when you call or text.
Can you unlock my car without damaging it?
Yes. Joe uses professional lockout tools designed to open car doors without scratching the paint, bending the door, or breaking a window. If a child or pet is locked inside, call 911 first — and during business hours (9 AM–7 PM), Joe will unlock it for free.
Need a Locksmith Today?
Open 7 days, 9–7 — call or text and you'll always reach the owner directly.
