Storefront hardware, master key systems, staff rekeys, panic bars and keypad access for Weston shops, offices, medical suites, schools and HOAs. Owner-operated, licensed & insured, 1-year warranty, 9 AM–7 PM, 7 days a week.
Weston’s business life is built around its town centers, its medical offices and its many homeowner associations. Here is the commercial work that comes up most.
Weston Town Center, Bonaventure Town Center, Weston Commons and the plazas along Weston Road, Indian Trace and Royal Palm Boulevard. Glass storefront doors, back-door deadbolts and exit hardware.
The restaurants around Weston Town Center and the plazas, where staff turnover is constant and back doors see heavy use. Rekeys when staff leave and keypads so keys stop walking out the door.
Law, insurance, real estate and accounting offices along Weston Road and Bonaventure Boulevard. Suite doors, file rooms and shared entrances, rekeyed whenever someone leaves.
Medical and dental offices around the Cleveland Clinic campus and along Weston Road. Patient-area doors, records rooms and supply closets, often on keypads so staff can come and go.
Weston has dozens of HOAs with clubhouses, pool gates, fitness rooms, maintenance closets and guardhouses. Boards are quoted like any other customer.
Fitness studios, dance and martial arts schools, tutoring centers and private schools. Secure entrances, staff rekeys and exit hardware that works every time.
One key for the owner or manager that opens everything, and limited keys for everyone else — designed before a single key is cut. Our master key systems page explains how it works and why the plan comes first.
The job nobody looks forward to. It is quick, far cheaper than new locks, and it ends the question of who can still get in. See also rekeying in Weston.
Installed, repaired and adjusted so they latch firmly and release instantly. Panic hardware is where shortcuts put people at risk, so Joe does it right or not at all.
Mortise cylinders, hook bolts, deadlatches and lock bodies on aluminum storefront doors, replaced before they fail rather than after.
A good fit for back doors, stockrooms, offices and clubhouse rooms where collecting keys from people who leave is the real headache. Delete a code instead of chasing a key. See keypad and smart locks.
File cabinet locks, mailbox banks, hurricane shutter locks, pool and gate locks, padlocks, and eviction lock changes for landlords.
People get locked out and call a locksmith. The bigger danger is people getting locked in, often because someone added an extra lock to a back door or a clubhouse exit.
A required exit must open from the inside in one motion, with no key, no special knowledge and no tools. That is what panic hardware is for. Keyed deadbolts on the inside, slide bolts, chains or padlocks on an exit door all break that rule, and fire inspectors look for them.
There is nearly always a compliant way to get the security you want: exit-only hardware, a deadlatch with the right function, an alarmed exit device, or a keypad outside with free exit inside. If something on a back door worries you, ask — and if it is really a question for the fire marshal or your alarm company, Joe will say so.
Your local fire and building officials have the final say on exits, not a locksmith. Joe’s job is to install hardware that keeps you out of trouble from the start.
Nobody wants a locksmith at the front door during the lunch rush or a full waiting room. Our hours are 9 AM to 7 PM, seven days a week, and we do not work overnight, but there is nearly always a quiet window.
About pricing: commercial work varies too much for a posted rate — door count, hardware grade, mortise or exit hardware and the key plan all affect cost. You get a written quote first, and the invoice matches it. All installed hardware has a 1-year parts and labor warranty.
We also work with businesses in Plantation, Sunrise, Coral Springs, Fort Lauderdale, Tamarac and Parkland.
"I recently hired Joe at PBC locksmith to update the security at my home. He was punctual, and professional. He re-keyed my door locks so that just one key works for everything, which is so convenient!"
"Very nice job completed. I was extremely happy with his work. He was prompt on arrival time and installed many locks and dead bolts for me. I am a happy customer from Delray Beach!"
"Great experience all around. I didn’t expect to have my smart lock installed the same day I started looking, but Joe arrived quickly and completed the project in less than an hour. Highly recommended!"

Rekey the outside doors and every inside door that key could open. It is quick, costs far less than new locks and settles the question for good. Joe can usually do it the same day and hand out new keys to current staff.
Yes. A master key system lets the owner or manager open every door with one key while each employee opens only what they need. It has to be planned before any key is cut, since fixing a bad plan later is much more work. Our master key systems page explains how it is laid out.
Yes. That covers new panic hardware and repairs to bars that stick or will not latch. It is the part of commercial work where mistakes have real consequences, because a required exit must always open from inside in one motion, without a key.
Joe can work at either end of your business day within our hours of 9 AM to 7 PM, seven days a week; there are no overnight calls. For most Weston shops that means before opening or on a weekend.
Almost always. Aluminum storefront doors take a standard mortise cylinder and lock body, and replacing them is a routine repair. Joe checks the model from a photo first and brings the right parts.
Yes, regularly. Clubhouses, pool gates, fitness rooms, maintenance closets and guardhouses, plus master keying so the board, management and staff each hold the right access. HOAs are quoted like any other customer.
Yes, for the right doors. A keypad means no keys to collect when someone leaves — you just delete their code. It suits back doors, offices and clubhouse rooms, though not every door, and Joe will tell you which.
